Attleboro Youth Soccer Mission Statement

To provide the youth of Attleboro the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive soccer leagues by teaching and demonstrating soccer skills, sportsmanship, honesty, respect, and fair play. To provide a safe environment where our youth not only can excel in their soccer skills but also learn the importance of physical fitness in their lives. To provide an atmosphere where the player’s emotional well-being will be nurtured as they learn the importance of teamwork, determination, persistence, and hard work.   All members will work towards instilling in our youth the enjoyment and fun aspects of the beautiful game of soccer.

Attleboro Youth Soccer (AYS) is a volunteer PARENT organization, that currently has over 850 children playing this popular youth sport. The program continues to grow every year, so AYS needs many volunteers such as coaches, assistant coaches, board members, age group coordinators, field coordinators etc. .

  • AYS is not affiliated or funded by the City of Attleboro. We need all the help we can get, so please check off an area on the registration form where you might be able to donate some of your time or email us at
  • AYS monthly board meetings are open to all parents and coaches.  Our meetings are held the second Thursday of every month except July .

Congratulations to the Attleboro U-18 Boys for winning the BAYS Sportsmanship Award for 2015

From the Bays website:

2015 Bays Sportsmanship Award

BAYS expects all of its members to practice good sportsmanship, we believe examples of outstanding sportsmanship should be recognized and rewarded.

For the second year a Sportsmanship Award will be presented to those teams that have been nominated and selected by the sportsmanship award committee to receive the award.  Teams that earn the award will receive special T shirts and a team picture will be posted here in recognition of this honor.

Nominations were received from referees and opposing coaches this season and there were a number of teams that exhibited examples of outstanding sportsmanship.

After considering all of the submissions, and having investigated the comments received, the committee has selected two teams to receive the 2015 BAYS Sportsmanship Award.  The two teams are: The Natick girls’ U-18 team, coached by Tracy Coffman, and The Attleboro Thunder boys’ U-18 team, coached by Adam Sims.

It should be noted that both teams were recognized for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season and that both coaches were recognized for emphasizing sportsmanship during their previous coaching seasons as well.

Since the tone is set at the top, Tracy and Adam are to be congratulated for setting the proper example for their parents and players every season.  They are a credit to their respective town organizations as well as to BAYS in general.

Congratulations to the Attleboro U-18 boys Team  for winnning the sportsmanship award.
