Subject: Spring Travel Soccer

Just a heads up that MOST rosters,indoor practice schedules,coaching assignments..etc should be finalized next week. Coaches will then begin to contact their players by the end of Feb. Most teams will have 1+ indoor practices in March before heading outdoors in April.
First Travel game is 4/11 for u9-u14 and 4/26 for high school aged teams. Travel team pictures and Pep Rally will be held 4/4. Pictures will be in the AM at Thacher and the Pep Rally will be at AHS around 12:15. More details to follow.
A few of you receiving this e-mail are still on a waiting list.Most have been removed and notfied as such, and will be able to be placed on a team.
AYS still needs MANY accounts(payments) to be settled. Payments can be mailed to PO BOX 641.

Below are the standard BAYS Team scheduled game times for each group of play. These are guidelines. Some teams are required to play at a special time. You should review your team’s schedule to check time of play.

  • The season begins on April 11 and runs for 10 consecutive weeks. U16 – U18 begin Sunday April 26 for 7 consecutive weeks.
  • U-18 games will now be 90 minutes long.

    Subject: Ma Youth Coaching Course
    Coaches, Attleboro Youth Soccer will be hosting a Ma Youth F License course on March 27th and April 3rd. It will held at Brennan Middle School from 6-10pm each evening.

    AYS will cover all costs for Attleboro coaches taking this,and any other Ma Youth Coaching License course.

    In order to take the F course you must have previously taken the G course. If you have not taken the G course yet, Ma Youth now offers an online G course.

    Ideally AYS would like all their recreation coaches to hold at least a G license and our Travel coaches to hold at leats an F license.
